From that union, 4 sons were born: Tim, 1950, Paul, 1953, Mark, 1955, and Matthew in 1957.
After 49 years of marriage, Ardith passed away. Elvin married Bernita Kauffman Liechty, July 1998, a wonderful addition to the Wade family. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Azle and Evan and sister, Jeannette. Elvin is survived by his wife Bernita, sons and families: Tim and wife Claudia, Cody, Wyoming, and granddaughters Kristin Wade Hyatt (Ken), Highland Ranch, Colorado, and Adrienne Wade Contreras (Dan), Highland Ranch, Colorado and great granddaughter Kennedy Contreras.
Paul and Mary, Bakersfield, California, grandson Matthew (Lindi), Bakersfield, California and great grandson Dante and great grandddaughter Presley and granddaughter Amy Wade Crosby (Ryan), Boise, Idaho, and great granddaughters Kate, Lola and Dagne. Mark and Cheryl, Fillmore, California, grandsons Evan (Megan), Dallas, Texas, Grant (Brande), Fillmore, California Harrison (Karen), Fillmore, California and great granddaughter Ariana (Nick), Joshua Tree, California and great grandson, Jivan. Matthew and Judy, Taft, California, and grandsons Ryan, Taft, California and great grandson Tristen Jason (Camilla), San Diego, and great grandson Mattias. Also survived by brother Buck Wade, Houston, Missouri and sister Mildred Altman, Lakeland, Florida and other family members. Elvin will be missed by all who knew him. He loved the Lord and served in various positions at Faith Fellowship. He also enjoyed ministering to young men that helped work his cattle operation at the Rocking 4W Ranch south of Houston.
